All Officers are certified and attend continuous training in an effort to afford the residents of the township the best law enforcement has to offer. Every Officer is cross trained and is certified in many areas. Two officers are State certified to inspect and install Child safety seats and are available to the residents by appointment. Many programs are presented within our school district, from driver education to Stranger danger. The Department is especially proud of their DARE program which has been presented to our Sixth grade students since 1999. The Department has been recognized and received many awards presented by the State and County for their work within our community. The goal of every Officer is to make our community a safer place to live, work and raise our families. The Department can be reached by calling 911 in case of emergencies, or at 724.745.8030
