Boards and Commissions

Chartiers Township is now seeking residents willing to serve on the following volunteer Boards and Commissions:

Parks and Recreation Board, one (1) member:

     This seven (7) member board is very active and relies heavily on the volunteer board members.  They are responsible for the community recreational programs and events and handle all aspects of planning, organization and event administration.  If you enjoy being part of community events and don't mind investing some time to make them a success, this board could be a great way for you to serve our community.  We need one member to fill an unexpired term through 2016.

Uniform Construction Code Board of Appeals, three (3) members:

       The Board of Appeals hears requests for variance and time extensions from decision's of the Township's Building Code Official regarding the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code.  Members of this board be qualified to make decisions regarding the uniform construction code through training and experience, which may consist of licensure as an architect or engineer, experience in the construction industry, and training or experience as an inspector or plan reviewer.

Transportation Impact Fee Advisory Committee, seven (7) members:

      At least three (3) members of this seven (7) member Committee must be from the real estate, residential and commercial development and building industries.  Members of the Committee may be residents or business people within the Township.
