Laborer

Chartiers Township is seeking a full-time laborer for the public works department.   Duties range over a wide variety of municipal activities, including manual work requiring physical exertion, use of manual and power-operated tools, truck driving, including snow plowing and the maintenance and construction of streets and other municipal facilities. 

Qualifications include experience in general labor operations, semi-skilled maintenance or construction tasks or combination thereof, mechanic skills/certifications a plus.  In order to be considered eligible at the time of application, you must possess, maintain, and show proof of a validated PA Commercial Driver’s License; be capable of performing essential job functions; and, if offered the position, submit to a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.  Chartiers Township is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a competitive benefits package.
